Ed Sheeran: The Dark Side of The People Pleaser Shadow & The Cost To Your Identity
If you haven’t been living under a rock recently, then you’ll probably have heard about the catastrophic fallout happening in Ed Sheeran’s life right now following his decision (or the promotor’s decision in his words) to pull Macklemore from his Loop Tour which has resulted in boycotts, criticism and being cancelled worldwide – not to mention his other support acts walking out in solidarity with Macklemore.
Radio stations refusing to play his music.
Fans requesting refunds for the Loop Tour as they cite a breach of contract.
Criticism of Ed’s self-proclaimed “apolitical” status when it comes to the documented genocide in Palestine at the hands of the State of Israel – when he was vocal in support for Ukraine following Russia’s invasion including charity concerts etc.
Other artists opening criticising him.
Jokes about his lack of a spine to stand up to the billionaire stadium owners who demanded Macklemore’s removal.
Now, I’m not interested in the “this is what’s happening” narrative.
What interests me is the massive fucking people-pleaser Shadow that Ed Sheeran has and the dark side of the unconscious Shadow when it dictates your life.
There is a massive collapse happening in Ed Sheeran’s life right now.
Monumental.
And Collapse Frequency Energetics happens to be my domain.
Taking the energy of collapse – and alchemizing it.
As someone who sees through Illusion, someone who reads energy and Frequency, someone who works in the Hidden Realm of the Unconscious – this is textbook Collapse Energetics.
A breaking point.
A fracture point between who someone has been when their life has been built on Shadow, Illusion, Ego and the False Self – and the pure potentiality of who someone could become when they surrender the Shadow to their Highest Self.
This is the Identity glitch.
Following this story, all I see is huge people-pleaser energy from Ed.
And, as a recovering people-pleaser myself, it hits home how much the people-pleaser Shadow can quite literally destroy your fucking life when left unchecked.
The Shadow is our Unconscious Self.
The version of us we represses, hide from, run away from – and so it manifests as Shadow.
Always there.
Lurking.
A programme running in the background like malware on your laptop that you cannot see – but is causing chaos and will ultimately crash the system.
And for someone with such high visibility like Ed Sheeran, the impact of the unchecked Shadow can be catastrophic to someone’s life, Identity, career and their integrity.
As an Oracle and a Seer, all I see is that a collapse was going to happen in Ed Sheeran’s life either way.
That’s the paradox.
There would always be a checkmate for him.
And this is the path of awakening, of collapsing the old and liberating oneself from the shackles of Illusion and the False Self.
The collapse was inevitable.
An Identity glitch was already happening behind the scenes, building momentum in his life, in his career – and the Macklemore moment was the collapse checkmate.
The way I see it – no matter what decision Ed made, the fallout would happen.
This is the whole point of living in a multidimensional universe.
For every decision, every choice, every move – there’s an opposite.
Like a “Sliding Doors” effect from the 90s movie where a different decision creates a different outcome.
Where one timeline collapses and another begins.
Where two timelines can collide with each other to create a seismic collapse in your life to shift you into a Higher Frequency Consciousness.
Or not – based on the moves you make.
Where timelines are continually moving, shifting, weaving, expanding, collapsing based on the moves you make, the game you play, the decisions that can expand or collapse you.
Where the seemingly insignificant miniscule decisions you make can – over time – lead to huge misalignment with your path and your higher purpose.
Just like eating one shitty junk meal a day won’t have a significant impact on your wellbeing, the effect of one shitty junk meal a day compounded over time can become catastrophic to your health.
The same goes for our decisions, our alignment with our soul, with our heart – and the alignment with the Ego, with the Shadow and with the False Self mask that betrays and gaslights us into believing it’s who we are at our core.
The Shadow will whisper to you that this is who you are.
It will hold you hostage without you even realising it.
Living your life from a supposed conscious way of being, all the while the unconscious Shadow has been running malware in your Consciousness.
And the people-pleaser Shadow is one dirty bitch.
It cripples you.
It creates a no-win situation for you.
It falsely soothes you with the illusion that you are a “good person”.
A “nice guy”.
A “nice girl”.
That your actions are for the benefit of all and so you end up suffocating your own voice, your own Truth, your own desires in order to keep the peace.
To put others needs first and yours last.
To not speak out when things don’t sit well with you because you don’t want to rock the boat.
To constantly betray yourself in order to keep others happy and their needs met.
To suffocate yourself into remaining compliant with the illusionary needs of others because you unconsciously believe that their needs have priority over yours.
To not set boundaries with people for fear you’ll upset them, piss them off or they’ll hate you.
The people-pleaser Shadow is a real dirty bitch.
Sneaky.
Parasitic.
Quietly destroying your life in the background and you’ve no fucking clue.
Quietly sapping your energy.
All those mini anxieties running rampant in you with all the mini decisions you’re making based on the needs of others.
It’s fucking exhausting.
Now, back to what I said earlier about the collapse in Ed Sheeran’s life was inevitable and it’s a checkmate moment.
(I go off on tangents, but I’ll always come back lol).
This collapse – this fracture point in Ed’s life – was always going to happen.
That’s the paradox.
There are multiple timelines available to each and every one of us.
The more you stay faithful to your Shadow – albeit unconsciously so – the more misaligned you become within yourself.
You can be following the path of your dreams, the life you’ve always dreamt of, the career you’ve always wanted, the success you’ve always yearned for – but the more faithful you are to your Shadow Self, the more it’ll eventually fuck you over later when timelines collide with each other and both are seeking dominance.
The way I see it, there was no favourable outcome for Ed Sheeran in this.
A collapse is a collapse.
An Identity glitch is an Identity glitch.
If it’s meant to happen, it will.
No matter how much you cling to the false narrative of the Shadow Self that you are being a “nice person”.
From my Oracle perspective, if Ed Sheeran had decided to take a stand against the billionaire stadium owners demands in support of his friend Macklemore, in support against genocide, in support against billionaires dictating the rules, taking a stand against Robert Kraft, against the promoter – there’d have been backlash against him from those who hold the purse strings.
People who egoically believe that just because they have wealth, that they hold power.
When in fact, it is false power and that power can and will collapse – but that’s a whole other article to write 😉.
Oh how the Ego and the Shadow loves to deceive!
The other stadiums on his tour said they wouldn’t host him if he didn’t bow to their pressure.
His upcoming tour dates would have had to be cancelled or, at a push, find another suitable venue at very short notice which would let people down if it was out of the area.
He’d have felt remorse for letting his fans down, letting the ticketholders down, knowing that they’d spent money to see him, buy tickets, book travel and accommodation.
He’d have felt bad for letting the other support acts down, in his own words, saying that they relied on him for work and to make a living. Feeling bad that they wouldn’t have work, wouldn’t get paid, all because of his decision to take a stand against false powers who dictate what others should do.
He’d most likely have been called antisemitic by Zionist trolls all because he took a stand for his friend who used the stadium to declare “Free Palestine” and somehow that chant makes a middle-aged Karen in US suburbia feel unsafe.
You can see how this pans out had Ed Sheeran said no to the people-pleaser Shadow inside of him.
Set boundaries.
Said no to the billionaire overlords and their false power.
Said no to genocide.
Stood by his friend, Macklemore, which would have gained the respect of the other support artists who inevitably walked out of the tour.
He’d have been called out for supporting Palestinian liberation – without ever having to say any words of support – his actions would have said everything that was needed.
And he’d have been criticised by Zionist supporters like P!nk – who, rather ironically, is going through her own cancellation for having a temper tantrum about Macklemore.
He’d have found himself in that strange Void you find yourself in when you refuse to humour your Shadow and it glitches.
Because you’re creating a glitch between the False Self and the Higher Self.
And the more you do that, the more you alchemize that Shadow.
Which is why the people-pleaser Shadow can be such a dirty, devious bitch because it seduces you into believing that you are a “good person”, a “nice person”, all because you put everyone else first with the illusion of what they want.
That’s one timeline.
Then there’s the current timeline.
The current collapse where Ed Sheeran decided to continue to remove Macklemore from his tour, citing that it was the promoter’s decision and it was out of his hands.
That, effectively, he had no power in the decision made to remove Macklemore from the tour.
Even though, let's be honest, Ed isn’t exactly some up and coming artist who is struggling to get their music known.
He’s not exactly cosplaying as Oliver Twist with his plate held out, begging “please sir, can I have some more?”.
He’s a world-renowned singer/songwriter who can fill a stadium instantly.
He has visibility.
A platform.
A voice.
God knows how many billions of Spotify streams (I had to check, about 65 billion lol).
A net worth of $400 million.
A very successful and lucrative music career.
He has power.
But the people-pleaser Shadow took hold.
Or not (perhaps he’s a secret Zionist at heart and thinks that genocide is cool and that children should be murdered to keep other children safe, who knows!).
But I believe it’s the people-pleaser Shadow.
The need to please that is so ingrained in those of us with a people-pleaser Shadow that it is hard-wired into the very core of our being.
That it is so normal to be this way, that it’s not even a conscious decision, it’s an unconscious Frequency running rampant in our Consciousness that is so well hidden that it goes unnoticed to the unseeing eye.
The people-pleaser Shadow literally instigated his collapse.
The fallout.
The criticism.
The backlash.
The walk-outs.
It cost him his “nice guy” image.
Someone who is seen as being full of shit after his public support for Ukraine.
Someone whose words and actions cannot be trusted.
Someone without integrity.
Someone who is now facing being cancelled in epic proportions.
Because visibility at the level that Ed Sheeran has will always result in a bigger fall.
A bigger collapse.
A seismic rupture of the Ego Self.
The False Self.
And this is the awakening.
When the timelines collide – the False Self and the Higher Self.
The level of collapse – the fracture point of collapse – literally fractures the Soul.
That existential state of being.
The questions of “who am I?” and “what the fuck is happening?” as your life collapses around you.
When someone has become too distorted within themselves.
Whether that is physically, mentally, emotionally, energetically or spiritually.
Where distortion exists, the fracture point can rupture at any point.
Like a dam holding back the water.
One little crack in the infrastructure is irrelevant.
A few little cracks – again, irrelevant.
But over time, those cracks can get bigger.
The infrastructure can get weaker.
Until what went unnoticed for years – or a lifetime – suddenly cracks.
When the sheer pressure of the distortion collapses the quick-sand foundations that the Identity is built on.
The Ego.
The Shadow.
The False Self.
The sheer pressure of the water collapsing the weak points of the dam.
Flooding the area.
Uprooting everything that is not rooted down.
Ripping it all up.
Tearing apart everything that appeared to be solid like a tsunami ripping up trees, buildings, infrastructure.
The House of Cards collapses.
The False Self.
Like a line of dominoes standing tall until one flick of a finger, one gust of air, one sudden movement collapses it all.
This is what happens when your Identity is built from the Shadow.
When the False Self becomes perceived as the true Self.
When the Ego drowns out the Soul.
When the people-pleaser Shadow uproots your life in a millisecond because you find yourself in a position trying to be fucking Switzerland and keep the peace in everyone instead of keeping the peace in yourself.
Granted, I can’t speak for Ed Sheeran.
I don’t know him.
I don’t know the conversations that went on with the billionaire Puppet Masters like Robert Kraft or the tour promoters etc.
But what I do know is Energetics and Shadow.
I see when someone is distorted energetically.
I see when the timelines are fracturing.
I see where the collapse point is.
I see the endless possibilities that can result from one decision – or from indecision.
I see the different versions of you that are possible based on the moves you make, the game you play and the Identity you hold.
I see where the Shadow is running rampant in someone’s subconscious.
I see where they are being throttled by Shadow energy without even realising it.
I see where the distortion literally collapses your enter Identity leaving you in a WTF moment.
I see how the False Self eventually creates circumstances that can no longer maintain the Identity you've built and – like quicksand – it collapses.
Because when your Identity is glitching – whether you realise that or not – everything attached to the False Self version of you, the Shadow Self, collapses.
It has to.
It’s universal law.
That’s why when you upgrade your Frequency, fake people fuck off out of your life.
That’s why doors open for you that were once closed because you’re in a new timeline.
That’s why businesses collapse and CEOs go bankrupt when the business was built from the Shadow – and how stronger businesses, brands and careers are built from the ashes.
That’s why when you’re going through an Identity upgrade, an awakening, a transformation – everything that is not rooted in the Truth of your Highest Frequency Self must collapse, leave and dissolve.
This is why people in positions of Power, Leadership or Influence to the sheer level of visibility that Ed Sheeran has need Oracles and Priestesses like myself.
Someone who isn’t going to bullshit you.
Someone who isn’t another yes-person parasite clinging to you for relevance.
Someone who isn’t emotionally, financially, mentally or physically invested in you – only spiritually invested in your Highest Potential Self.
Someone who can show you the weight of the consequences of your decisions – and show you all possibilities based on the moves you make.
Someone who can hold the Frequency of collapse without flinching.
Someone who can look you in the eyes and speak Truth to power.
Because the problem with being surrounded by yes-people is that eventually you lose access to Truth.
(Not your truth, or their truth – but the Truth. That’s the important distinction).
Not because the Truth doesn't exist.
But because nobody around you is willing to risk their position, their access, their financial investment or their relevance to tell you what you maybe don't want to hear.
And the more visible you become, the more powerful you become – and the more dangerous that becomes.
Because you can have an entire team, a management company, advisors, friends, family and people who love you – and still have nobody who can see the fucking distortion happening inside you.
Nobody who sees where you're betraying yourself.
Nobody who sees where your decisions are being dictated by the unconscious Shadow.
Nobody who holds up the mirror without needing you to like what you see.
That's where a true Confidante becomes invaluable.
Not someone who exists to stroke your Ego.
Not someone who tells you everything is fine.
But someone who can see you beyond the Identity you've constructed from your Shadow Self.
Someone who can recognise the fracture before it becomes a collapse.
Someone who can hold the space for you to confront what you've been unwilling or unable to see.
Because the greatest threat to your Identity isn't always the people standing beside you.
Sometimes it's the Shadow running rampant in your subconscious that nobody else can see and that can literally cost you everything.
